GDS-15 - Geriatric Depression Scale - 15-item Short Form

Description

The GDS-15 is a 15-item short form of the original 30-item Geriatric Depression Scale.

It is a self-report assessment used to identify depression in the elderly.

Special Instructions

Once the patient has submitted it, you may preview it on the uninitialed documents tab in the EHR. However, do not initial it or it won't later be pulled into your Mobile Note.

A score of 5 or greater suggests depression
