Valant EHR Users Unlocking Own Account

Users will now be notified when their account has been temporarily locked due to three unsuccessful login attempts. Any time they try to login while their account is locked, they will receive an email with "Reset Password" instructions. Once they successfully reset their password, they will immediately gain access to login.

Valant EHR Users Unlocking Others' Accounts

Users with "Practice Permission" have the ability to unlock provider and staff users who lock themselves out of their accounts. This can be done by selecting System | Unlock Locked User Accounts. This page will show a list of locked users who have entered their password more than three times incorrectly.

Click Unlock to unlock an account and allow the user to try to login again.
