eLabs Facilities

Notes: 

  • Practices who want to add a new eLab facility to an existing account or add eLabs for the first time will not be able to due to the Change Healthcare cyber attack. Updates will be provided as they are available.
  • Practices who had eLabs set up prior to February 21, 2024 will be able to follow the steps in this article for existing eLab facilities.

Users with Admin Access can configure lab facilities for eLabs. This will typically be done by a Valant Team Member when your practice starts eLab integration or Valant adds an additional lab to send electronic lab requests. The facility ID will come to Valant via our integration partners Change Healthcare. To access this page the practice needs to have eLab integration setup. In addition to having admin access users also need “Persons and Institutions” permission to access eLabs Facilities. From the navigation menu click Persons & Institutions | eLabs Facilties to view this page.
